There are many ways to measure the academic performance of a school.  In ever area, CCA ranks as one of the top academic schools in South Carolina.

1.         On the SAT-10, in the 06/07 school year, CCA averaged 39 points above the nation and more than 20 points above the other Christian schools (AACS) nationwide.  See chart below for nation comparisons:

Overall, CCA outperformed the nation academically by an average of 39 percentile points, placing CCA within the top 11% of all schools in the nation.

 

2.         In comparison to other Christian schools in South Carolina on the SAT-10, CCA ranked number 2 in 04-05 and number 5 in 05/06.  The 06/07 score comparisons are not yet available.

 

3.         As part of the SCACS annual Fine Arts Festival, students from various schools will compete in all core curriculum subjects.  We are proud to report that the following CCA students made the highest scores in the state as indicated.

4.         College Scholarships – One hundred percent of CCA’s graduates have attended college over the last six years.  Most received academic scholarships, 100% the last two years.

 

5.         College Entrance Tests – It is not unusual for CCA students to average two hundred points higher on the SAT.  Some will score three to four hundred points higher.  Also, ACT scores are significantly higher.

 

6.         AP Tests – CCA students take various AP tests, receiving credit for subjects taken at CCA in high school.

 

7.         U.S. News and World Report in August of 2006 carried a full page feature story about CCA being one of the premier Christian schools in South Carolina.
