Championship Athletics
All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy!
Athletics provides a venue not only for wholesome fun but one in which some of
the most important lessons in life can be learned perseverance, self-control,
living by the rules, etc.
CCA proudly offers opportunity to both boys and girls to compete
interscholastically in volleyball and basketball on the varsity and junior
varsity levels. Also three levels of cheerleading are available to girls
beginning with the first grade the pee-wees, junior varsity and varsity
squads. In addition, CCA students compete in co-ed golf.
The cheers from the stands and the bench, the
celebrations on and off the court that followed this years wins, trophies and
accolades were indeed all the result of team efforts. These team efforts cover
a span greater than a single game, this season or even a single sport. This
team effort, of course, includes the obvious persons such as the players,
coaches, and athletic director. It, however, includes many others such as
cheerleaders, their sponsors, and countless volunteers, including the bus
driver, score-keepers, concessions and admissions workers, fans and others.
Below are conference
championships and Christian sportsmanship awards that CCA teams have won. CCA is
a fun place to be. We are proud of all our teams in all sports.
